Dental claim settlement - substandard orthodontic work
A good result for a London based dental claim client. £13,650 in settlement for a failure to provide proper orthodontic treatment over a 4 year period.
My client had Invisalign retainers fitted by her dentist who failed to properly treatment plan and provide suitable costs information. Some of the allegations of dental negligence in the letter of claim included:
A failure to diagnose dental pain and infection;
Failure to refer to a periodontist for gum disease problems
Failure to achieve an aesthetic result using orthodontic treatment.
Settlement was negotiated with the defence organisation out of Court.
